2015 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet

The 991-generation Porsche 911 Turbo S could be considered to be the very epitome of the phrase “a wolf in sheep’s clothing”. And that’s not to say that a base 911, which is what the Turbo S closely resembles, is a sheep of a car - quite the opposite, actually. But with a 0-60 time of 2.6 seconds and a top speed of 198 mph, the Turbo S begins to look more like a budget supercar and less like an expensive 911.

Unlike the GT range of 911s, with their fixed rear wings, side decals, and loud exhausts, the Turbo S hides this performance quite well. It behaves like any other 911 would; it’s comfortable, quiet, and easy to drive, and it comes equipped with air conditioning, trunk space, a radio, and a leather-wrapped interior with two seats in the back. And aside from a wider wheel-base, air inlets in the rear wheel arches, and quad exhaust tips, the unassuming onlooker might easily confuse it for a standard 911. But when it’s time to get down to business, the Turbo S transforms into one of the quickest production cars ever built. A hidden front spoiler deploys below the front bumper to improve aerodynamics, and a rear wing is hydraulically raised to increase downforce. A twin-turbocharged, 3.8-liter flat six engine producing 560 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque will get you to 100 mph in 6.5 seconds, and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes will get you back to zero from 70 in just 144 feet. With numbers like these, the Turbo S will go toe-to-toe with just about anything short of the million-dollar Bugatti Veyron.

A retractable Cabriolet Roof is finished in Black, and ‘911 Turbo S’ decals can be seen in yellow script on the lower front edge of both doors. Inside the cabin, 18-way Sport Seats with Seat Heating are wrapped in Black leather, and Carbon Fiber trim extends to the gear selector and illuminated door sills. Recent service records from August of 2023 indicate a full vehicle inspection, engine oil service, replacement of both rear tires, and the inspection of both boost hoses was performed by Blue Chip Services. Additional records from August of 2022 indicate that an engine oil service, brake fluid flush, the replacement of the passenger side front tire, replacement of cabin air filters, replacement of engine air filters, replacement of the windshield washer hose, replacement of battery, replacement of drive belt, and a four-wheel alignment were also performed by Blue Chip Services. All four wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that wear 2018 (driver’s side) and 2021 (passenger’s side) date codes on the front and 2022 date codes on the rear. Paint Protection Film has also been applied and covers the front bumper, the hood, the front quarter panels, and the housing for both door mirrors.
