Debuting at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Ferrari 458 Italia represents a remarkable evolution in the lineage of Ferrari’s mid-mounted V8 masterpieces. With a design as dramatic as its performance, the 458 Italia stands as a testament to Italian engineering and artistry.

Under the rear glass panel, behind the driver and passenger, lies a finely tuned version of Ferrari’s F136 V8 engine. This 4.5-liter powerhouse, featuring direct fuel injection—a first for a mid-engine Ferrari—produces a thrilling 562 horsepower. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, developed in collaboration with Getrag. Notably, the 458 Italia marked Ferrari’s move away from manual transmissions in their mid-engine models, embracing a new era of rapid, precise gear changes.

The Ferrari 458 Italia is equipped with advanced magnetic dampers that adjust seamlessly between providing a comfortable ride and delivering the firm handling needed for high-performance driving. The carbon-ceramic brakes are engineered for exceptional stopping power, with a system that pre-charges the brake calipers for faster response, allowing the 458 to come to a stop from 60 mph in just 80 feet.

Designed by Pininfarina with oversight by Donato Coco, the 458 Italia’s exterior features elegant aerodynamic touches, including specially designed winglets in the front grille that enhance airflow while adding a refined aesthetic element.

With just 3,344 miles on the odometer, this Ferrari 458 Italia has been meticulously maintained and is now offered with its original Ferrari owner’s manual, window sticker, car cover, two keys, the original tool kit, and a clean Carfax.  A recent service was performed in July of 2024 by Blue Chip Services and included an engine oil service, the replacement of brake hoses, replacement of engine air filter, and the replacement of spark plugs. A full front Paint Protection Film has also been applied to the car.
